Dr. Dr. Johannes Lierfeld brings a uniquely multidisciplinary background spanning screenplay narrative skills, AI, neuroscience, and space technology.

After penning several non-fiction books about AI, Johannes focused on brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and published “A Log-In for the Matrix: BCIs as bridges between Protein and Silicon” in 2023.

In 2026, “The Conversion Theory: BCIs, the Qualia Problem and the Irreversible Subjective Conversion” followed - the publication of Johannes´ second dissertation at the esteemed “Philosophy of Mind” institute at LMU Munich.

Now, in the context of his LUNAR HABITATO moon habitation license model, Johannes aims to bridge the gap between inner and outer space – the gap between our neurons and the universe, through BCI-supervised mission control.
Despite being in space tech only since 2025, Johannes is now working on his third dissertation titled “Bridging Inner & Outer Space: Resilient Decentralized Robotic Swarms and Hybrid Digital Twins for Autonomous Lunar Construction”.

Johannes is also the inventor and personal owner of the company´s three WIPO-registered design IPs “Matryoshka Shell Design” and the surface protection solutions “Bug Shield - Single Armor” and “Bug Shield - Double Armor”.

RETHINK SPACE brings these lines together: the Moon is the place where technology, architecture and human scale can be renegotiated from scratch for the first time.

As the author of several non-fiction books he writes about these developments for a wide audience – while working on their practical implementation.
